Importance and Mission

The Company is committed to driving Innovation-Led Growth through structured innovation processes to expand and diversify the business into new dimensions (Diversification). In response to volatile economic trends, the Company has adapted by adopting a Cost Leadership strategy. This approach focuses on utilizing innovation to sustain its core product base while simultaneously optimizing internal processes to achieve maximum value from production resources (Resource Optimization). Furthermore, a more concrete system has been established for Intellectual Property Management.

In addition, the Company is dedicated to continuous process development by implementing digital data tracking technologies (Digital Transformation & Data Analytics). This initiative aims to:

  • Enhance manufacturing efficiency (Operational Efficiency)
  • Minimize process losses (Waste Reduction)
  • Provide tangible support for corporate greenhouse gas reduction goals (Carbon Footprint Reduction)
  • Upskill personnel to effectively adapt to technological changes (Workforce Readiness)

These efforts ensure the long-term sustainability of both our workforce and the organization (SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).

As a result of these continuous developments, the Company was honored with the Industrial 4.0 Recognition Award 2025 for sustainable industry from the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA). This prestigious recognition serves as a testament to the Company's success in implementing advanced innovation and technology in alignment with Industry 4.0 standards (Smart Manufacturing).

Implementation and Performance
Enhancement of Innovative Organization

New Product Development from Competitions and Internal Innovation

In 2025, employees collaborated to pitch a total of 8 product concepts through the Creativity Product competition project, which are currently undergoing evaluation for further commercial development. This brings the company's current pipeline to over 60 product ideas that are ready to be developed and launched on the market as opportunities arise.

In addition to the products generated from the competition, 6 new items were developed in 2025 through internal channels to deliver fresh experiences to consumers and stimulate the beverage market both in Thailand and neighboring countries. These initiatives boosted company sales by more than 60 million Baht. Furthermore, 3 distinct company products were specifically developed and launched in the Indonesian market.

(Process Innovation & Circular Economy)

(SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and production)

1. Circular Economy Model (rPET Project): The Company has initiated the use of innovative rPET bottle packaging since June 2024 and will continue this operation moving forward. This is part of our corporate social responsibility activities aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions (Decarbonization)* and mitigating impacts or risks from government regulatory measures to achieve future Carbon Neutrality / Net Zero goals.

Activity Outcomes : In 2025, the initiative successfully collected post-consumer PET plastic beverage bottles and funneled them into the rPET recycling process. This successfully reduced the use of new plastic (Virgin PET) by more than an additional 140 tons. These bottles were collected through internal factory activities, a buy-back program for PET bottles from employees' households, and the expanded ICHITAN Re-Circle project, which purchases PET bottles from participating schools and allied hotel chains. This initiative helps generate income for employees and community residents through the You-Tern network and participating educational institutions.

2. Resource Efficiency: This relies on "Collaboration Project" activities, which provide a platform for employees to form cross-functional teams to execute improvement projects or propose new process development guidelines that benefit the business. This includes solving existing problems, enhancing process efficiency, or generating cost savings from specific modifications.

Activity Outcomes: In 2025, the focus was predominantly on problem-solving and production efficiency enhancement. This resulted in direct cost savings of approximately 2 million Baht. Additionally, it yielded more than 10 feasibility studies on solutions or production constraint reductions, which can be scaled up and implemented in the 2026 production process or in the future.

Key Project Examples: Notable projects included the design of tools and processes for spraying disinfectant inside bottle conveyor rails, efficiency improvements in the transfer and mixing of Amalty Syrup, and the development of a warehouse status tracking system.

(Open Innovation & Strategic Collaboration)

(SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals)

Open Innovation Roadmap 2026: In 2025, the Company observed innovation contest activities with key partners, including Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) and Thai Coconut, to adapt and implement these practices into our own corporate initiatives.

Currently, the Company is in the preparation phase to launch a product design and innovation contest for university students and faculty members, which is scheduled for mid-2026. This will mark the first time the Company opens its doors to ideas from the younger generation to develop into actual commercial products through a competitive platform. Embracing these external perspectives will enable the Company to discover authentic consumer insights (Unmet Needs), driving continuous improvements in production processes and product development to ensure they remain modern, highly relevant, and better aligned with our sustainability goals.

Academic Research Collaboration : The Company is committed to managing waste materials from the production process in accordance with the principles of the Circular Economy, Zero Waste, and Decarbonization. Having already demonstrated responsibility in managing PET plastic bottle waste, the Company's innovation working committee strove in 2025 to establish collaborations to study methods for upcycling spent tea leaves (STL). The goal is to elevate waste management from mere disposal to value creation (Waste to Value) and Zero Waste. By leveraging academic collaborations with three leading universities, this initiative drives the Circular Economy and Decarbonization through a collaborative network, using innovation as a mechanism to transform spent tea leaves into sustainable benefits for business, society, and the environment through the following research topics:

Development of Bio-extracts for Sustainable Agriculture (in collaboration with the Department of Biotechnology, Mahidol University)

Eco-friendly Extraction Processes (in collaboration with the Department of Chemical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University)

Alternative Energy and Waste Material Processing (in collaboration with the Department of Physics, Kasetsart University)

(Intellectual Property Management)

  • Professional Patent Agency: Equipped with a certified "Patent Agent" who has completed professional training and is officially licensed by the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP). This initiative builds internal expertise in a highly specialized field, enhancing the organization's capability to manage and protect its innovation pipeline. Furthermore, it enables systematic knowledge dissemination to share insights with the public, strictly adhering to good governance principles.
  • IP Portfolio Expansion: In 2025, the company filed applications for the protection of three additional designs within the packaging category. These technical designs are a direct result of the long-standing experience and expertise of our internal team.
  • Knowledge Dissemination: Beyond rights protection, the company maintains a policy to disseminate innovation-related knowledge for the benefit of society through our sustainability reports and internal media channels. This allows business partners and interested parties to adapt and apply these concepts, thereby scaling the benefits of our innovations to the wider public.
